THE latest shame of the “Honey Boo Boo” clan was revealed when “Mama June” Shannon admitted sex offender Michael Anthony Ford, the biological father of Jessica “Chubbs” Shannon, is also the dad of Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon. And now the sicko is back behind bars, The National ENQUIRER has learned.
Chubbs had hoped to reconnect with her jailbird father until Mama June’s bombshell “Entertainment Tonight” interview.
Ford, 37, who was nailed on “To Catch a Predator” in 2005, was released on parole after serving more than two years in prison for sexual exploitation of a child over the Internet.
After pleading guilty to parole violations, he’ll be imprisoned until 2026 – for accessing underage sex sites and an escape attempt.
In 2012, Ford was busted when his parole officer checked his laptop computer at home. Several teen sex sites had been visited and Ford was immediately arrested.
He was later released on bond, but the court ordered him to wear a GPS tracking device. When the sex offender didn’t show for his parole revocation hearing, an arrest warrant was issued.
Cops located Ford’s GPS device on an interstate roadway 70 miles away. He quickly pleaded guilty to the parole violation charges.
At sentencing, the judge threw the book at him. The court ordered Ford to serve the remainder of his original sentence and he should be behind bars until 2026.
Ford told The ENQUIRER: “June and I only dated for a few months, and she became pregnant. I left June and went with another woman a month before Jessica was born.
“The last time I called and asked to see her, they threatened to have me arrested for harassment.
“I’ve paid around $300 a month in child support for years, but I still don’t get to see my own daughter. She’s only seen me five times in her whole life.”
And unless Jessica can get a ride to the prison it’s going to be awhile longer before he sees her again. Marvin Lee “Uncle Poodle” Thompson said: “With this latest revelation, June is tearing this family apart!”
