In a shocking expose, The National ENQUIRER reveals that “The Bachelorette” is rigged by producers in a heartless attempt to generate the highest ratings possible!
A close relative of contestant Kalon McMahon, told The ENQUIRER exclusively that the handsome Texan was recruited by producers because he fit their mold — even though he never had any intention of marrying Bachelorette Emily Maynard on the eighth season of the hit ABC reality show that debuted May 14. Turns out he’s not ready to settle down and has lots of other girlfriends.
McMahon’s grandmother Joelle Rogers also says producers beefed up Kalon’s bio, making him appear to be wealthy when he has “about as much money as the homeless guys I give $5 to every time I drive down the street in Houston.”
The ENQUIRER further learned that contestant Travis Pope is a ringer who once tried to pitch his own reality show.
And sources say producers callously picked race car driver Arie Luyendyk Jr. as a contestant because single mom Emily’s former fiance was a racer who tragically died in a plane crash when she was pregnant with their child.
“Producers hoped that would upset Emily, get her to cry and stoke up the drama,” says one insider.
“They don’t care about her feelings – they care only about ratings.”
