As worldwide media gears up for disgraced golfer Tiger Woods‘ "sorry" address, the big question is will embattled wife Elin Nordergren stand by her rehab-ing man.

At II AM in a well orchestrated and Team Tiger controlled media event at the TCP Sawgrass Clubhouse in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, Woods  will speak to a select few and the world through a lone video camera and then return to treatment for his sexual addiction.

"There has been non-stop strategy sessions at the house between Tiger and his people," an insider told RadarOnline.com.

"And from an image standpoint, everyone feels it would be much better for Elin to be there. After all, he’s apologizing for his behavior.

"People are going to be a lot more receptive to his apology, if they see his wife has accepted his apology."

But Elin who hasn’t worn her wedding ring in public since the night the potent putter was caught is starting to crumble under pressure from Tiger.

"She’s not the type of woman to be used as a prop," our source said. "So he’s got a difficult task ahead in getting her to go."

Meanwhile the Golf Writers of America are so disgusted they are boycotting the event.

"The position, simply put, is all or none. . . . To limit the ability of journalists to attend, listen, see and question Woods goes against the grain of everything we believe," the GWA said in a statement.

The event is being covered by Associated Press, Reuters and Bloomberg who will be pooling coverage to the rest of the world in what is being called a "well orchestrated selfish move".

It all happens at 11 am EST and The ENQUIRER will be there to bring you the story behind the photo op orgy of mea culpas that will precede Tiger’s eventual return to action – on the links.
