Eddie Murphy and Tracey Edmonds have called it quits after just two weeks of marriage!
“After much consideration and discussion, we have jointly decided that we will forego having a legal ceremony as it is not necessary to define our relationship further. While the recent symbolic union in Bora Bora was representative of our deep love, friendship and respect that we have for one another on a spiritual level, we have decided to remain friends,” the couple said in a statement.
The couple said “I do” on a romantic beach in Bora Bora on New Year’s Day. This was a second trip down the aisle for both the bride and groom. Murphy, best known for his roles in Beverly Hills Cop called it quits with his first wife after 13 years and Edmonds was married to Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds.
