MTV’s last music show bites dust.

Despite the fact that Eminem stopped by for a chat, girls screamed wildly at the mere presence of Justin Timberlake and Beyonce gave a heart-stopping perf, TRL is no more.

MTV pulled the plug on it s most influential show Total Request Live after years of sagging ratings.

Since its preem and live interactive countdown TRL helped launch the careers -and mania – for such stars as Britney Spears, the Backstreet Boys, Christina Aguilera, ‘N Sync and Eminem.

In its prime TRL had the power to influence sales and even big movie stars like Tom Cruise stopped by lay some Plugola for an upcoming flick but with the net and iPod like choose-ability, its American Idol like influence waned.

"I feel like they’re kinda tearin’ down my home," Eminem lamented as did original host Carson Daly, "This is a sad moment."

The all-star wake was missing Britney who was a no-show although her "Baby One More Time" was voted top TRL vid of all time, playing over the final creds.
