The widow of KILL BILL star DAVID CARRADINE who died from autoerotic asphyxiation has settled with a film company in a “wrongful death’ suit.
AP reports that court records show that an attorney for Carradine’s widow, Anne, reached an accord against French filmmakers producing the thesp’s last film.
Anne Carradine filed a notice Monday in Los Angeles indicating the parties had reached a conditional settlement.
Exact financial terms were not disclosed.
The “Kung Fu” star, 72, was found dead nude in a Bangkok hotel room in 2009 while working on the film “Stretch.”Anne Carradine later sued MK2 S.A. in June 2010.
Anne charged the filmmakers promised to provide David Carradine with an assistant to help him navigate Bangkok.  The assistant had gone out for dinner, leaving the kinky star alone to fly solo.
The autopsy ruled he died from “Auto-erotic asphyxiation” i.e. pleasuring himself while strangling himself to heighten the orgasm when Carradine lost consciousness.
MK2 had previously denied wrongdoing in court filings.
