Christie Brinkley tried desperately to cover up a plastic surgery nightmare that ravaged the supermodel’s world-famous face!
In her new book, “Timeless Beauty: Over 100 Tips, Secrets, and Shortcuts to Looking Great,” Christie confessed she dabbled in cosmetic procedures after worrying wrinkles on her forehead were making her look old.
“Looking back, I don’t even know why I bothered,” she wrote. “My forehead looked fine – until I got the Botox!
“Instead of making me look serene and relaxed, it took the arch out of my eyebrows and made me look sad.
“I actually started to feel depressed too!”
Her brows drooped so dramatically that it “made me look like I was punched in the eye,” she said. “I couldn’t move my forehead. I had to wear hats!”
Though she vowed never to use the injections again, the cover girl admits she relented after noticing “particularly obvious” stringy bands in her neck.
“The easiest way to address this issue was to inject a small amount of Botox,” said the 61-year-old beauty. “It worked wonders!”
Christie won’t name the doc who botched her first Botox job, but she does reveal that she saw cosmetic injection king Fredric Brandt.
The popular plastic surgeon committed suicide last April after being “devastated” by Martin Short’s parody of him on Netflix’s “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.”
