BRUCE: THRILL RIDE OF DOOM

description

Red star BRUCE WILLIS nearly "died harder" when an escalator suddenly went haywire!

In a scene reminiscent of those balls-to-the-wall action flicks that made Bruce a star, the escalator bearing Willis to a screening of Red at MOMA in New York abruptly went all Maximum Overdive.

"The escalator taking guests down to the theater accelerated to near-carnival-ride speed," a source told the NY Post.

"Women started screaming and one did a high-flying jump off, nearly landing on Bruce"

The escalator came to a screeching halt as Bruce and the woman who jumped were all apparently OK.

Bruce’s PR flack Paul Flock who rode shotgun on the hell-bent escalator confirmed "We had to jump, it was going so fast."

Bruce and his costars, the geri-action gang, including 93 year old ENQUIRER favorites ERNEST BORGNINE, HELEN MIRREN and MORGAN FREEMAN enjoyed the after party where Bruce regaled them with tales of his near-disaster.
