Pop princess Britney Spears is set to say “I do” after a whirlwind two-month romance!

The 33-year-old “Toxic” singer and reality show producer, Charlie Ebersol, 31, will celebrate their engagement at a lavish Christmas bash, sources said.

Her father, Jamie, who is Britney’s court-appointed conservator, who is Britney’s court-appointed conservator, introduced the couple four months ago 
and has given them his blessing.

“Charlie pitched Jamie about casting Britney in a new reality show, and Jamie thought he was a really good guy,” said a family insider.

“Britney was brought in to meet Charlie, and lo and behold there was chemistry!

“They’ve been moving closer at light speed, and when Charlie suggested to Jamie that he ask for Britney’s hand in marriage, Jamie quickly said yes.

“He really trusts Charlie. He thinks he has good intentions, good morals 
and a lot in common with Britney.”

The couple’s engagement party will be held at the Costa Rica estate of actor Mel Gibson, who counseled Britney after her 2008 mental breakdown.

Party guests will include Britney’s two sons with ex-hubby Kevin Federline.

Charlie’s parents are NBC Sports’ former chairman Dick Ebersol and actress 
Susan Saint James.

“Dick thinks it’s great to see his son happy, but Susan wants Charlie to be with someone who’s not famous,” said a family insider. “Susan just doesn’t think Britney is the right choice.”
