Breakdown Fears For Marie Osmond

Marie Osmond

A movie now in the works detailing MARIE OSMOND's hellish second marriage could send the troubled singer right back to a mental hospital, worried friends told The National ENQUIRER.

The TV movie is based on the new book “The Life and Career of Marie Osmond,” by Randy Jernigan, and will center on her 21-year marriage to producer Brian Blosil.

While the book features some painful and humiliating events, “the movie is going to delve deeper into some of Marie’s darkest secrets and difficult times,” Randy told The Enquirer exclusively.

That’s precisely the problem, said Marie’s friends.

“It’s one thing to read about the horrific things you went through, but to actually see it being played out on screen is like reliving the drama all over again,” said one pal.

Marie and Brian were married from 1986 to 2007, and had seven adopted and biological children together.

“Brian had dreams of being a rock star and successful record producer, but became increasingly jealous of Marie’s already established career,” Randy revealed. “His jealousy turned violent when he heard a rumor that Marie was still in love with her first husband, Steve Craig [whom she eventually remarried].

“He ended up pushing her down some stairs, cracking her wrist and leaving bruises all over her body,” Randy added.

At the time, Brian called the allegations completely untrue.

In May, as The Enquirer reported, Marie, 55, suffered an emotional collapse on the five-year anniversary of her son Michael’s suicide.

“This TV movie reenacting her private hell will send her to the mental hospital,” her pal insisted. “She’s at a very fragile point in her life right now.”
