While Brad Pitt’s soon-to-be ex Angelina Jolie is throwing him under the bus and ex-wife Jennifer Aniston is coping with her own heartache, Brad’s finding solace with another gal he nearly married — Gwyneth Paltrow!
“After Angie hit Brad with divorce papers, he called Gwyn, both for counseling and comfort,” a friend told The National ENQUIRER.
“He said he was jealous about how she handled her divorce from Chris Martin in such an adult fashion, doing what was best for their two kids, and he wants the same with Angie.”
The Goop gal has always been kind in describing her broken engagement to Brad, saying “he was too good for me,” and they’ve remained pals since their 1997 split.
However, Brad can forget about running back to Gwyneth’s open arms.
She’s more than happy with her current Brad, “American Horror Story” producer Brad Falchuk, the spy said — “and besides, she’s too smart to throw herself into the hornet’s nest that’s Brad and Angelina right now.
“But when Brad needs a shoulder to cry on, she’s there for him!”
