Boy George shocked a live audience by announcing he had sex with fellow ’80s icon Prince — and just to win an argument!
The former Culture Club singer is now a judge on the UK edition of “The Voice,” and was enjoying some oneupmanship with fellow pop star judge Paloma Faith.
After George talked about singing with Smokey Robinson, Paloma said, “If we’re throwing big soul names out there, I’ve performed with Prince.”
George replied, “Forget that, darling. I’ve slept with Prince!”
That’s not the kind of pillow talk that Prince wants to hear — since he’s now a devout Jehovah’s Witness, and his religion says that homosexuality is a sin!
Everyone else on “The Voice” set was a lot less judgmental, with judge Will.i.am giving Boy George a big high-five!
But the heat must’ve come on quick, because now George is backtracking and saying that he never really bedded his fellow pop star.
That’s a relief for Prince — who, just a few years ago, held up a Bible in an interview and said, “God came to Earth and saw people sticking it wherever and doing it with whatever, and He just cleared it all out. He was, like, ‘Enough!'”
