MICHAEL J. FOX out tub-thumping new show reveals shocking truth about his boozing.
Sitting down with Howard Stern Fox revealed he hit the bottle hard after learning he was first diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease.
“MY first reaction to it was to start drinking heavily," Fox confided.
"I used to drink to party but…now I was drinking alone and to just not be… Every day."
"So once I did that then there was about a year of, like, a knife fight in a closet, where I just didn't have my tools to deal with it.
"Then after that, I went into therapy and it all started to get really clear to me."
Eventually he learned to take one day at a time thanks to his ever-present and supoortful wife Tracy Pollan whom Fox married in 1988.
Naturally, Stern asked Fox about his sex life.
"The only thing about sex," Fox joked, "is deciding who's going to be the agent of motion."
