BOBBY KENNEDY, Jr.’s back in the dating game and with more enthusiasm than EVER –especially for actress Cheryl Hines!
The environmental activist and son of the late Robert Kennedy and the blonde actress – who plays Larry David’s long-suffering wife on the HBOcomedy series “Curb Your Enthusiasm” – have been secretly dating for more than five months.
And the relationship is so serious that they’re talking about moving in together, say sources.
“They’re absolutely crazy about one another,” said a pal of the pair.
“They’ve tried to keep their relationship on the down-low, but their friends have known about it for a while now.”
Bobby, 57, and Cheryl, 45, got together late last year after splitting from their respective spouses.
He filed for divorce in May 2010 from second wife Mary Richardson, whom he’d been married to for 16 years. Two months later, Cheryl announced she was splitting from her husband of seven years, producer/ manager Paul Young.
In early December, the pair was spotted on the slopes together in Deer Valley, Utah. On Dec. 30, they were together again in Aspen, Colo., where Cheryl cheered Bobby on as he raced in the AVSC Ajax Cup. Sources say that Cheryl insists the timing of their divorces was a coincidence.
Most recently, she was at his side in New York City following the premiere of his documentary film, “The Last Mountain,” on May 25, and they were reportedly very cozy at the after-party at the Rouge Tomate restaurant.
The night before, the couple attended a screening of the HBOdocumentary “Bobby Fischer Against the World,” and then went to the after-party at the Royalton.
Cheryl’s rep says the two are “friends who support each other’s projects.”
Cheryl has also become close with Bobby’s eldest daughter, Kick, and has been taking her around Hollywood and introducing her to casting agents, says the source.
“Who knows…they may all soon be one, big, happy family!”
