Rest in peace. Fashion icon Max Azria, the found of BCBGMAXAZRIA, died on Monday, May 6, according to WWD. He was 70 years old and succumbed to lung cancer.
Max was known for dressing iconic celebrities such as Kim Kardashian, Taylor Swift, Halle Berry and more. He first launched his legendary brand back in 1989. BCBG is the French acronym for “bon chic, bon genre” and means “good style, good attitude.”
He is survived by his wife, Lubov, who is the creative director for his brand, as well as his six children. Our thoughts remain with his family and friends during this difficult time.
