BASIC INSTINCT BEAUTY PAY-OFF

SHARON STONE has been ordered by a Los Angeles jury to pay $232,000 to a man who claimed he fell on the Basic Instinct star's property.

RadarOnline.com reported  Peter Krause (not the thesp) had claimed that he dropped more than 15 ft into a ravine while doing work on Stone's estate, suffering injuries.

Krause claimed in the lawsuit that he was installing outdoor wiring on Stone’s property when he fell down a "large concealed drop-off" onto a fence.

The fence suddenly gave way, sending him cascading down and onto a neighbor's adjoining property.

Krause said he has been unable to work since the accident.

The jury determined Stone had been negligent because her fence wasn't up to county code regulations and therefore not strong enough to prevent the fall.

Stone testified at the trial on Monday, and defended the safety of her property, and the jury was shown diagrams of the actresses backyard.

No “Basic Instinct” leg crossing was on display as the jury ruled in favor of the plaintiff.
