AUTOPSY REVEALS CHRIS BENOIT WAS ON STEROIDS

description

Investigators confirmed that they found steroids, among other drugs, in the body of WWE wrestler Chris Benoit, who murdered his wife and son, Daniel, 7, last month before hanging himself.

Though Benoit tested negative for blood alcohol, anti-anxiety medication Xanax and the painkiller hydroncodone were found in Benoit’s blood system, according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.

Investigators have also concluded that Benoit’s son was sedated with Xanax at the time he was killed. The Medical Examiner said they could not perform tests for steroids or human growth hormones on Daniel because there wasn’t enough urine available to perform those tests.
