When “Who’s the Boss?” star Danny Pintauro dropped the bombshell that he’s HIV-positive, he also thanked The National ENQUIRER.
Danny broke the startling news to Oprah Winfrey on a Sept. 26 episode of her OWN TV series, “Oprah: Where Are They Now?”
The star, 39, also spoke glowingly about The ENQUIRER divulging his gay secret back in 1997!
He told Oprah: “Believe it or not, The National ENQUIRER actually did a really fantastic, heartwarming article about it.
“It turned into a positive thing. I had nothing to hide. I was not at all secretive about it. There was nobody in my life who didn’t know.”
Danny — who played adorable Jonathan Bower on the series — revealed he tested positive for HIV in 2003. He’s now married to Las Vegas casino worker Wil Tabares.
