Happy flower child Drew Barrymore loves being a mom to daughters Olive, 3, and 18-months-old Frankie.
But after Frankie was born, Drew sank into a six-month postpartum depression.
“I didn’t have postpartum the first time,” said Drew, “so I didn’t understand it, because I was like, ‘I feel great!’
“The second time, I was like, ‘Oh, whoa—I see what people talk about now!’
“It’s a different type of overwhelming with the second. I really got under the cloud!”
Now she’s joining Hayden Panettiere’s crusade to alert women about the severity of the condition!
