A man decided to introduce a little anarchy in Virginia – and got arrested for it!
Jeremy Putnam was spotted walking about the town of Winchester dressed as ‘Batman’ villain ‘The Joker’ while carrying a sword!
Area police received various calls from confused locals about the masked man, who was breaking the law. In Virginia, wearing a mask in public is a felony that carries a penalty of up to five years in prison. They feel it is an isolated incident despite receiving numerous other reports.
Putnam was booked and is currently being held at the Northwestern Regional Adult Detention Center on a $2,000 bond.
