Law enforcement: a soccer mom with four kids ran an uber-posh New York brothel and made millions catering to wealthy, powerful johns and top political figures — using police pals as muscle.
According to bombshell court documents, Anna Gristina, 44, an Ugg fancying, PETA devotee, operated her high-priced prostitution ring out of an East 78th Street NYC apartment.
At an arraignment hearing Manhattan Assistant DA Charles Linehan told the judge that Gristina boasted “business contacts worldwide”.
The alleged madam’s “black book” included powerful politicians, top-law enforcement, top lawyers, bankers, entertainment execs and Fortune 500 businessmen, as well as several extremely rich Euro clients, police sources said.
Gristina was heard on wiretaps claiming “to have made millions over the 15 or so years she has been in business as a madam,” ADA Linehan said, according to transcripts of the hearing.
The married mom, who lives with her family in upstate New York, arranged a sexual encounter for a client in which “minors were involved,” Linehan told the judge.
One eyewitness account — a confidential informant who was one of Gristina’s own hookers – confirmed the wiretaps that Gristina aka “Anna Scotland,’’ said her law-enforcement pals were “poised to help her out, to let her know if there is trouble on the front that she needs to be concerned about, particularly back during the Eliot Spitzer investigation,” the Assistant District Attorney said during the hearing.
Gristina, a native of Scotland was nailed as part of a five-year investigation by the DA’s Official Corruption Unit, an Internal Affairs unit that probes NYPD for possible misconduct.
Because the alleged madam’s black book remains sealed as evidence, it is unknown what top politicians were named as clients of the high-end whore house.
