Cops charge a Florida teen with murder after his mother was discovered dead with a knife in her eye.

According to the Northwest Florida Daily News, Sharon Aydelott was found dead on Christmas Eve in her home in Gulf Breeze, Fla., after having been stabbed multiple times, beaten with a baseball bat and had her throat slashed.

When cops arrived, they saw that the front door smeared with blood and the slain mom’s  body prone just inside.

A kitchen knife jutted from a bloody eye socket.

The victim had been a science teacher at nearby Holley-Navarre Middle School, where she had  worked since 1968.

William Brandon Aydelott, the victim’s 17-year-old son, was collared by police at a nearby home three hours later, the NWF Daily News reports.

He came in for questioning, offering no resistance

Aydeloott’s clothing appeared clean, but investigators detected spot of dried blood on his wrist.

When being questioned by police, he appeared calm and emotionless and other than smiling briefly—he confessed to the murder,  according to the NWF Daily News.

The teenager said he had moved out of home after his relationship with his mother deteriorated in September.
