The jury deliberating the fate of JODI ARIAS have reached a verdict – GUILTY of first degree murder.

As The ENQUIRER previously reported Arias, 32, is charged with first-degree murder for killing her ex-boyfriend Travis Alexander in June 2008.

Prosecutors charged she allegedly stabbed him 27 times, shot him in the head, and slit his throat.

Arias defense claims that she killed Alexander in self-defense after he flew into a violent rage during an argument in his Mesa, Ariz., home.

They argued she should be found guilty of manslaughter.

Grueling testimony in the trial lasted for four months.

The jury, made up of eight men and four women, had been deliberating for two and a half days.

Convicted of first-degree murder, Arias faces the death penalty in the State of Arizona.
