Arias, who is in the penalty phase of her trial, has raised nearly $40,000 for her appeal in the killing of ex-boyfriend Travis Alexander.

During the penalty phase of her trial, prosecutors continue to depict her as a cold-blooded killer who murdered Travis because he wanted to end their turbulent relationship.

While Arias admitted to stabbing him 29 times, shooting him in the head and slitting his throat, she said it was done in self-defense.

As The ENQUIRER reported, Arias hired a a new defense team to back her startling claims.

Recently, her team contended that prosecutors deleted images of child porn from Travis’ computer.
