According to reports, Hudson's brother was found dead in a bedroom of the home. And her nephew is missing.

JENNIFER HUDSON is due to take the witness stand in the bombshell trial of the man who killed her mother, brother and 7 year old nephew!

Hudson will testify at William Balfour's trial, which is docketed to begin April 9.

Prosecutors have not officially named the popular singer yet although she is a key witness.

As THE ENQUIRER reported in a series of heartbreaking reports Balfour was the estranged husband of Jennifer’s beloved's sister, Julia.

Hudson's mother and brother were found murdered dead in the family's home on Chicago's South Side in 2008.

After a state wide manhunt, her nephew's body was found days later in a car parked on the city's West Side.

Prosecutors filed detectives' reports culled from multiple interviews with Hudson after the grim murders.

According to the court filings, Hudson told cops she had known the suspect, Balfour, since childhood.

She also advised her slain sister Julia against marrying him,  the police investigators' filings stated.
