A deadly gun battle broke out during the middle of a baseball game, sending fans and players running for their lives!
AP reported that the Saltillo Saraperos, a Triple-A baseball team in the Mexican League, were playing a friendly match against a local team of youths when a gunman opened fire!
The blistering gunshots directed toward a state police vehicle sent some four baggers diving face first into turf.
Others buried their faces in their mitts, huddling with terrified fans inside the dugout.
Police gave chase to the shooter, killing three and wounding another.
Local media reported that although the ballclub’s team bus was riddled with bullets no players nor fans were injured.
It is suspected the shootings were drug related as Saltillo is the capital of the Mexican border state of Coahuila, long a warzone for rival drug cartels.
