FBI STORM BUNKER, SAVE CHILD!

The FBI have raided an underground bunker in Alabama, saving the 5 year old child held hostage. The abductor Jimmy Dykes is dead.

FBI field agent in Mobile told news media that negotiations had deteriorated with Dykes, 65, described as an isolated loner with a gun.

Federal agents believed the biy’s life was in danger and took immediate action.

Officers stormed the bunker to rescue the child who suffers from Asperger's syndrome was rushed to a hospital in nearby Dothan.

It was not known how Dykes died – whether at the hands of law enforcement or whether he took his own life.

Law enforcement said Dykes had snatched the boy from a school bus after killing the driver, 66-year-old Charles Albert Poland, who tried to stop him

Neighbors have described the decorated war vet as a man who once beat a dog to death with a lead pipe, threatened to shoot children for setting foot on his property and patrolled his yard at night with a flashlight and a firearm.
