Revenge can be sweet – especially when it’s served cold in a prison cell!

Diane Reeve was one of several women infected with AIDS by convicted “deadly weapon” Philippe Padieu. But she’s battled back from the brink of death – and has a message for her rat ex.

“You didn’t kill me like you wanted to!” she told The National ENQUIRER in an exclusive interview.

The sordid saga began when Diane, a martial arts instructor from Dallas, Texas, met Padieu online after her marriage ended.

Romance blossomed, and the pair traveled the world in what she thought was a monogamous relationship.

But then Diane discovered the phone numbers of nearly a dozen other women in Padieu’s phone, and began tracking them down. One woman gave Diane the shock of her life – she was HIV positive and believed Padieu had infected her!

“He told me all along he was HIV negative and I believed him,” Diane, now 63, told The ENQUIRER.

She got tested, and learned she was HIV positive. “My knees hit the floor. They just buckled,” she said. I knew I was going to die,” she said.To her horror, further tests revealed that she had full-blown AIDS, which she viewed as a death sentence, and she struggled through a drug trial that left her barely able to walk.

“I was doing everything I could to stay alive,” she said. “I channeled my black belt spirit to not give up and keep fighting.”

Meanwhile, in 2009 Padieu was convicted of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He was later sentenced to 45 years in prison.

Now, Diane has beat back full-blown AIDS – and the levels of the disease in her blood are barely detectable. She’s devoted to educating women about dating and the spread of HIV.

“It took forever,” she said.“I would cry. I would worry. I would pray.”Today, Diane has no sign of the AIDS virus in her blood, and she’s devoted to educating women about the dangers of dating and the spread of HIV. She told The ENQUIRER: “I am alive and it feels so good!”
