Michigan cops have found the body of BREENA MACHUS,  20, who was abducted from a discount store found near Detroit.

Investigators found the remains in a secluded wooded area in suburban Detroit, less than 2 miles away from the abduction scene.

Machus, an assistant manager at a Family Dollar store in Dearborn was last seen Monday night.  A co-worker, Joseph Orlando, 20, was found fatally shot when other employees arrived in the morning for work.

The identity of the slain girl was confirmed as Machus,  Nancy Hamood Strutz, assistant to Dearborn Police Chief Ron Haddad told media.

Haddad said one of two women who were in the store between 7 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Monday contacted police and are cooperating in the homicide investigation.

Police say she is not a suspect.

The Family Dollar’s surveillance video captured images of a suspect, who appeared to wave as he strolled into the store.  Police are urging the public to call with any tips about the man who wore dark clothes with a hood over his head. His face isn’t visible on the video.
