From College Kid To Jihadi Merchant Of Death!

A college girl from Alabama has broken her parents’ hearts by becoming a murder-mongering recruit for ISIS, The National ENQUIRER has learned!

Hoda Muthana, 20, now lives in a terrorist camp in Syria, and has rejected her parents’ pleas to come home.

“I believe she’s been brainwashed! She’s not that kind of girl,” said her devastated dad, Mohammad.

Tragically, Muthana has even posted messages on Twitter urging other Americans to join her in bloody jihad.

“Americans wake up! Go on drive-bys and spill their blood, or rent a big truck and drive all over them,” Muthana implored in recent posts.

While her family believed Muthana was happily attending the University of Alabama in Birmingham, she actually dropped her classes, and then used the money to fund her trip to the Middle East.

“That’s far from unusual,” Christianne Boudreau, a Canadian mom who lost her 17-year-old son, Damien, to ISIS recruiters, exclusively told The ENQUIRER. He was later killed in Syria.

“These extremists teach kids to lie to their families and make them believe they’re doing it for a just cause.”

Muthana’s decision to join ISIS comes as two homegrown terrorists, Nadir Soofi and Elton Simpson, were killed in an attack on a controversial art exhibit in Garland, Texas.

And the government recently announced that Adam Pearlman – known as Azzam al Amriki, Arabic for “The American,” and a key spokesman for al Qaeda – was killed during an American drone strike in Pakistan in January.

“This is only the tip of the iceberg,” Christianne said, adding that the number of Westerners recruited by ISIS are more frightening than people realize. England, where ISIS recruited its video executioner, “Jihadi John,” is a prime example.

Researchers believe about 600 UK nationals have gone to Iraq and Syria.

Meanwhile, 180 Americans have tried to fight in Syria, according to Director of National Intelligence James Clapper.

Christianne has devoted her life to becoming a resource for other families going through the ordeal she and Muthana’s parents have endured.

“I can’t let Damien die in vain,” she said. “I don’t want anyone else to go through that.”
