Exonerated murder mom CASEY ANTHONY’s ex-defender JOSE BAEZ fends off controversy saying she won’t get a dime from HIS book about her case.
Jose Baez, the lead attorney who repped Casey Anthony, has penned a tell-all book about the bombshell murder trial — a whopping 352-pages – “Presumed Guilty: Casey Anthony: The Inside Story”, which hits bookshelves and online retailers this July, a full year after Anthony was acquitted of murdering her daughter Caylee.
"Casey will not financially benefit from this book in any way, shape or form," Baez asserted to media.
"This is MY story, not hers."
Yet, news of the impending publication ignited a conflagration of controversy over the social media landscape as the publisher was inundated with outrage.
"I was there from day one," Baez said.
"Other than Casey, no one else was there from the very beginning. These are my insights into what happened."
Meanwhile, Anthony who is still on probation and reportedly broke, signed off on the book – according to Baez.
"Casey has authorized me to write it. I have her complete and total permission."
