According to law enforcement, an Indiana killer broke into his ex-GF’s house, stabbing her death. The madman reportedly then ate her heart, lungs AND brain!
Police say Joseph Oberhansley, 33, tried to force his way into his former 46-year-old Tammy Jo Blanton's Jeffersonville. Ky. home at 3 a.m. but fled the scene when police arrived on the scene.
He then allegedly returned after the prowl cars departed and wreaked a terrible vengeance, cops say. When Blanton didn’t show up at work the next day, concerned co-worked called 911. Returning to the victims’ home, they made their horrific find — dead under a tarp in the bathtub.
The ME said she suffered fatal injuries to her head, neck and torso. In the kicthen, a used plate and cooking utensils were discovered smeared in gore and bone. Cops believe the suspect crushed her skull and then went about dismembering and cooking the victim.
Forensics also discovered tissue from the victim stashed in a garabe can. Arresting officers found Oberhansley still lurking about the property when they made the collar. After battling cops, the suspect was restrained by officers and arrested. Law enforcement officials have charged him with breaking and entering, murder and defiling a corpse.
According to Wave3 NBC-TV, the arrest report said “He further admitted to cooking a section of her brain and eating it.”
Oberhansley has a previous conviction for manslaughter in the 1998 shooting death of his 17-year-old girlfriend Sabrina Elder, The Louisville Courier-Journal reports.
But when he appeared in Clark Circuit Court the alleged perp changed his story, denied his previous confession and said “You’ve got the wrong guy”, and claimed he was not Oberhansley but some guy named “Zeus Brown”.
Fingerprints proved otherwise.
