A Texas man was arrested for killing his wife — after he was seen loading her dead body into a car!
Joseph Scala, admitted to local authorities that he suffocated his wife, Betty Scala, inside the home of a friend she was visiting.
He said the couple resided about an hour away in Arlington.
Police were sent to the residence after a 911 caller reported seeing a man dragging a woman’s body and trying to load it into a car parked in the driveway of the home.
Betty Scala was rushed to an area hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Scala is currently being held in Hood County Jail while local police try to determine a motive for the murder.
