THE HUMILIATION OF MICHAEL DOUGLAS

The mega-star's secret shame.

Michael Douglas
who snared an Oscar for his turn as greedy, megalomaniacal Gordon Gekko in Wall Street confesses he was humiliated and harassed continually by mad man director Oliver Stone.

Douglas, the son of legendary Hollywood actor Kirk Douglas and who's most notable role had been a TV cop on The Streets of San Francisco was bullied by Stone over his apparent lack of acting ability.

"He came into my trailer and said, 'You doing drugs?"  Douglas revealed.

"' I said, 'No',

"He said, 'Because you don't look like you've ever acted in your life.'

"He was willing for me to hate him for the rest of the picture if it gave (Gekko) that much more of a twist."

Evidently the dictatorial director's approach worked and now the pair are planning to reunite for a sequel.

Yet there's no truth to the rumor  the film is taking a radical blockbuster action approach and is now called WAR OF THE JUNK BOND KINGS:   GEKKO VS MADOFF.
