Teri Hatcher is being sued for allegedly promoting a different company's lip product after she signed an "exclusive endorsement deal" with Hydroderm in 2005. The lawsuit, which was filed Tuesday in Los Angeles Superior Court, claims the Desperate Housewives star violated her agreement not to endorse other competing products. Hydroderm reportedly wants Hatcher to refund the $2.4 million deal, plus $400,000 in expenses.

Hatcher's legal representative issued a statement calling the allegations "totally false" and an "unjustified and public assault on Teri Hatcher's good name, reputation and celebrity."
