TEDDY’s DARKEST SECRETS

description

A terrible darkness overwhelmed the late Lion of the Senate – horrors of the past he could never shed…….as  a bombshell new book reveals Ted Kennedy‘s darkest secrets!

Ted nearly died in a mountain climbing accident on the Matterhorn, slept under his dead father’s coffin and was blamed by his ex-wife Joan for her miscarrying their last child.

Those are just a few of the shockers disclosed in a blockbuster new book about the dying senator, according to publishing sources who provided The ENQUIRER with a copy of Last Lion: The Fall and Rise of Ted Kennedy.

The book – written by a team of reporters from The Boston Globe – exposes never-before-known details of his very public life.

One of the most bizarre incidents in Ted’s life occurred just before his father Joe‘s funeral.

"The book says Ted once referred to the strict father he seldom saw as a ‘blowtorch,’ but when the paralyzed patriarch succumbed in 1969 at 81, Teddy dragged a sleeping bag into the room where his father’s body lay and slept underneath the casket," the book reveals.

After Mary Jo Kopechne‘s death at Chappaquiddick, Ted asked his then-wife Joan to accompany him to the young woman’s funeral and his court appearance three days later.

"Pregnant at the time, Joan – who had suffered two previous miscarriages – got out of bed against doctor’s orders and took the rocky plane ride," a publishing source told The ENQUIRER.

"She miscarried a third time, her last pregnancy, and blamed Ted for the loss of their baby."

The book also discloses Ted’s ever-present fear he’d be assassinated like his older brothers John and Bobby, said the source.

"The book says a close friend recalled walking with Ted from the Capitol to his office on a spring day," the source disclosed.

"When a car backfired, Ted hit the ground, looked up and said, ‘You never know.’"
