Bon Jovi's "Slippery When Wet" Richie Sambora was officially charged by Los Angeles police.

But only on two charges of driving under the influence.  

Despite having two minors in the car including the rocker's ten year-old daughter, Sambora was not charged with child endangerment.

Rumors swirled that higher ups wanted to bop the rock with C.E. but the boys on the beat nixed that.
