BRUTAL PUPPY KILLER DESERVES TO ROT IN JAIL

A Kansas man is facing felony animal cruelty charges after horrified onlookers say he brutally beat and body-slammed a young dachshund named Apollo - injuring the innocent pup so terribly that it died later that day.

While it is too late to save Apollo, bighearted ENQUIRER readers can help ensure that the alleged abuser is forced to do serious time behind bars if convicted.

"This kind of disgusting animal cruelty has got to be stopped," Jennifer Campbell of the Kansas Humane Society told The ENQUIRER.

"The courts have to take these cases seriously. Abusers must be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

"When abusers are found guilty of these terrible crimes, they should pay major fines and do serious jail time."

The shocking abuse occurred in Wichita last November as Marques Eason, 33, was punishing 4-month-old Apollo and another young dog for doing what pooches do - bark.

Witnesses say they were stunned by Eason's brutality.
