Wrestling great THE UNDERTAKER faced death after epic grudge match that shocked millions of fans!
Wrestling fans were stunned as one of the biggest names in the game was left fighting for his life in a New Orleans hospital after a surprising defeat at WrestleMania XXX on Sunday night.
World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) legend Mark William Calaway – known to fans as “The Undertaker” - was taken to Ochsner Medical Center after losing a vicious bout with longtime rival Brock Lesnar.
According to statement released by WWE.com, Calaway, 49, was given a CT scan and “other medical testing”.
He was “diagnosed with a severe concussion and kept overnight for further evaluation.
Fans who witnessed the bout at New Orleans’ Superdome were shocked as Lesnar’s win broke one of the longest winning streaks in the world of professional wrestling: as the Undertaker, Calaway had 21 uninterrupted wins under his champion’s belt.
But even a 6'10", 299 lb. giant can fall, and The Undertaker fell harder than most.
Fortunately, after further observation, Calaway was discharged early Monday afternoon.
The ENQUIRER will continue to follow the latest developments on the grappling great’s condition.
