Former “Two And A Half Men” Star Angus T. Jones continued to speak out against his former show on Sunday, calling himself a “hypocrite” for his participation in the hit sitcom.
In an interview with Houston TV station KHOU, Jones said: “It was difficult for me to be on the show and be part of something that was making light of topics in our world where there are really problems for a lot of people,”
He didn’t spare his own participation, either, stating that: "I was a paid hypocrite because I wasn't OK with it and I was still doing it." Jones, now 20, made waves in November 2012 when Alabama-based church Forerunner Chronicles posted a video to Youtube where Jones blasted “Two and a Half Men” as “filth”
Though Jones later apologized, he left the show at the end of last year’s season to pursue his education at the University of Colorado at Boulder – walking away from a reported $300,000 an episode!
Jones, now sporting a beard worthy of a Biblical prophet, has continued to speak out about his religious beliefs, and was appearing at the Seventh-Day Adventist church World Harvest Outreach when he made Sunday’s comments.
"I really want to come into the light,” Jones added. “Because I know that is where the healing is and I've seen God do amazing things,"
