Three Walt Disney World employees busted by cyber-crime unit in child sex predator sweep.
The Orlando Sentinel reported the three WDW employees were among 23 suspected child sex predators arrested in a week-long police sting.
Cops say the men brought items including whipped cream-flavored vodka, marijuana and a McDonald's Happy Meal to a vacant house in Clermont, Florida, where they set-up by police who deceived the alleged perps that they would be meeting children as young as 13.
The detectives posed as children in online chat rooms as part of an undercover operation codenamed “Be Mine”.
Robert Kingsolver, 49, Patrick Holgerson, 32, and Joel Torres, 32 were Walt Disney World employees and have been booked on various sex crime charges including travelling to meet a minor.
The exact nature of the suspects’ jobs at the “Happiest Place on Earth” is not known at this juncture. A spokesman for Disney World told The Sentinel that the three suspects have been placed on unpaid leave.
The sex crime sting “Be Mine” was the third successful undercover op that the cybercrimes unit of the Lake County Sheriff's Office has performed. The unit, to date, has collared more than 100 suspects.
“They never learn,” Sheriff Gary Borders told the Sentinel. “We'll continue to work these operations and put them in jail.”
