One less NAZI pig - ADOLPH HITLER’s devoted lapdog bodyguard unrepentant SS Staff Sgt. Rochus Misch dead. Oh, but not before he knocked off a memoir due next month.
Misch was Adolf Hitler's devoted bodyguard for most of World War II and the last remaining witness to the Nazi leader's so-called final hours in his Berlin bunker of death and to the very end SS Misch was still a true believer in his “boss”.
Misch, in his official capacity as a death dealing scum bucket, accompanied Hitler everywhere until the diseased madman and his wife, Eva Braun, killed themselves as the Allied Forces reigned fire upon Berlin.
Misch remained in what he called the "coffin of concrete" for days after Hitler's death, finally escaping as Berlin was crushed to rubble with both the US and Soviet armies rushing to gain control.
The NAZI loyalist in a 2005 interview with Associated Press Misch remained deludedly faithful to the most hated figure in modern history.
"He was no brute. He was no monster. He was no superman," Misch told AP about his former master.
Misch died yesterday at age 96, one of the last of a generation that was directly responsible for the German atrocities during World War II.
Giving lip service to AP, Misch avoided key questions of guilt and culpability for Germany’s murder of over 6 million Jews. According to Misch, Hitler never discussed the so-called Final Solution in his presence.
"That was never a topic," he said emphatically. "Never."
And Misch, maintaining a Col. Klink evasive tact, of course, “knew nothing”.
In the forward to the English-language version of his book, "The Last Witness" — slated for publication next month — Misch wrote it was a different "reality" then and he never asked questions during what he believed to be a "regular day at work."
