Funky hunky funnyman puts the twinkle back in SANDRA BULLOCK’s eyes!
UNLUCKY-in-love Sandy is learning to laugh again – with help from her latest co-star, comic Bill Burr.
The “Blind Side” beauty, 48, became fast friends with Burr, 44, on the Boston set of their buddy comedy “The Heat,” and pals fear the Oscar winner could be falling for him, even though he’s got a girlfriend.
“Sandy hasn’t laughed so hard or looked so good in years – and it’s all thanks to Bill,” an insider told The ENQUIRER.
“They’re constantly joking and cutting up together. Sandy says they bonded so quickly because they’re both of German-Irish descent, and they get each other’s quirky sense of humor.”
In “The Heat,” Sandra plays an FBI agent forced to team up with a Boston cop, played by “Mike & Molly” Emmy winner Melissa McCarthy, to bring down a Russian mobster.
“The crew nicknamed Sandy, Melissa and Bill the ‘Three Stooges’ because they’re a riot together,” the source said.
“One day Bill started throwing Doritos at the girls, and they retaliated by lobbing apples at him!
“Another time he posted a sign on Sandy’s back that said, ‘Kick me, I’m a stuck up Hollywood b****.’ Sandy was completely clueless and walked around for hours while crew members snickered behind her back. Anyone else would have been furious, but Sandy thought it was hilarious.”
Known for his irreverent riffs on feminism, Bill has appeared in the 2005 HBO series “One Night Stand,” and the 2010 Comedy Central special “Let It Go.” He’s also done his stand-up act on late-night talk shows and landed several TV guest spots, including a recurring role on “Breaking Bad.”
Meanwhile, AS THE ENQUIRER recently reported, Sandra was devastated when her one-time love Matthew McConaughey married Camila Alves in June.
And two years after divorcing cheating badboy Jesse James, she’s still undergoing counseling to deal with trust issues involving men. Now some fear she’s falling for Bill, who’s already seeing director/producer Nia Hill.
“Nobody wants to see Sandy hurt again,” said the source, “but it’s just so good to see her beaming.”
