KIM KARDASHIAN and family are investigating the bombshell claims that their high end fashion gear is being made in Chinese slave labor sweatshop “very seriously”.
As RadarOnline.com revealed in a bombshell worldwide exclusive investigation, a Human Rights watch organization has launched an investigation into the working conditions of the factories where the products are made.
The institute for Global Labour and Human Rights is investigating claims that workers in China -- as young as 16 -- are working in squalid conditions to manufacture the Kardashians' products in factories reeking of stench from sewage, with temperatures north of 100 degrees. There are also claims the employees work up to 84 hours a week, earning $1 an hour
Kim, Kourtney and Khloe’s rep reacted swiftly to the ongoing news situation.
"This is the first we are hearing about it and take it very seriously as we would never condone this," their rep Jill Fritzo told Radaronline .com on behalf of the Kardashians. "We are presently investigating the situation."
According to the investigation, the Kardashians, who earned a reported $65 million last year, endorse several products in areas of China known for horrific working conditions that Human Rights orgs define as “slave labor”.
And, while the Kardashians are involved with many fine consumer products in the fashion, beauty, fragrance, health and lifestyle industries that are not part of this investigation, there are several brands under fire.
