MICHAEL C. HALL – who plays the serial killer on TV’s “Dexter” – thought it was a gag when a guy approached him at an LA bar and said: “Hey, I know who you are and I was thinking you might be able to help me out.
"I have this mother-in-law, and to say she’s the mother-in-law from hell is a hell of an understatement… and…well, if she was out of the picture, life would be heaven!”
That’s when Emmy-nominee Hall, realizing the jerk was pie-eyed, held up a hand and said: “I don’t want to hear anymore, pal!”
Ignoring him, the drunk slurred: “Well, it’s actually my wife’s entire family that’s the real problem…maybe we could work out a package deal…just whack ‘em all at once! And, hey…don’t worry about the money – I’ve got plenty!”
Sighed Hall: “Okay, buddy…I think you’ve had enough, and so have I!”
And the star split before he got offered any more… contracts!
