Police say tests on the $20 bill found in Heath Ledger's apartment had no trace of drugs. Police also said their investigation had turned up no illegal drugs or drug paraphernalia anywhere in the apartment and that there was no suicide note.
The New York Times reports authorities found six different types of prescription drugs in Ledger’s apartment, including sleeping pills and anti-anxiety medicine. Three of the drugs were prescribed in Europe, reports the Times, citing an anonymous law enforcement officer.
Meanwhile, Michelle Williams -- Heath Ledger's ex and the mother of his 2-year-old daughter Matilda -- returned to New York Wednesday night after flying home from Sweden where she was filming a movie.
Williams and her daughter arrived at their Brooklyn home around 8:20 pm/ET in a black SUV. They were immediately escorted into a garage alongside a bodyguard.
After Michelle and Matilda entered the garage, an NYPD representative announced that Williams was not expected to leave the apartment for the rest of the night.
Michelle's mother and her Dawson's Creek co-star Busy Phillipps were spotted entering the home earlier in the day. Actress Keri Russell was also seen leaving a card for the family with a police officer.
