Entertainment Tonight, in what has become the running joke of the entertainment industry, continues to refuse to admit it was wrong when it broadcast that Brad and Angelina's twins were born last week.
The show was scammed by someone impersonating Holly Goline, one of Angelina's assistants.
And even after the superstar couple's lawyers informed the show of its mistake, ET still refuses to admit its mistake!
Pointing to the fact that Angelina has not been photographed in more than a week, execs from the show insist they still haven't been proven wrong! They also proudly declare they've never run a retraction in 26 years.
That's pretty impressive considering that The New York Times has run approximately 10,000 corrections in the same time period! But hey, who are you going to believe - The Times or those hard-hitting journalists at ET?!
So every day, we'll bring you ET Watch - an update on how the show is avoiding admitting its mistake, either through silence or lame excuses.
So far today, the show is silent, with top execs closing their eyes and wishing really, really hard that everyone would stop talking about this.
Not gonna happen.
