Syria Site Struck Again

Trump keeping eye on Assad-Putin Alliance!

Donald Trump White House protest

More airstrikes rained down on a town in northwest Syria that was already hit by a deadly chemical attack!

The latest attacks on Khan Sheikhoun followed recent strikes by the United States on a Syrian airbase.

Although 20 planes were demolished in the attack, the Syrian air force has since resumed flight operations at the base.

It is believed Russian and Syrian aircraft have been bombing the area.

Russian President Vladimir Putin called the original US strikes that were in response to Syria’s use of chemical weapons an “act of aggression” and violated international law!

Russia, in response to the US strikes, showed solidarity with Syria by sending a frigate armed with cruise missiles to a Syrian port.

Syrians Cheer As President Trump Blasts Assad

At this time, the US does not believe President Bashar al-Assad should step down — despite the chemical attack that killed and injured over 100 citizens in his own country!

“Every time Assad has crossed the line of human decency, Russia has stood beside him,” said UN Ambassador Nikki Haley. “Russia bears considerable responsibility for Assad’s use of chemical weapons.”

President Trump said he decided to act when he saw the images on TV of Syrian children dying and suffering.

The US Government is currently looking for evidence that Russia was complicit or knew in advance about the attack.
