Hillary Clinton’s very close aide admitted that her boss created a “mess” when she lobbied for a massive donation for the Moroccan government! Another embarrassing new Wikileaks email reveals that in January 2015, Huma Abedin wrote to campaign chairman John Podesta and campaign manager Robby Mook about how her boss knew about the damage that a large donation from the Morrocan government would inflict on Clinton’s presidential run.
King Mohammed VI of Morocco had arranged to donate $12 million to the Clinton Foundation, but only if he held “a convention in his country in May 2015 with Clinton as the keynote speaker.” The former secretary of state, however, soon realized how her speaking in Morroco would not fare well for a White House bid.

“Just to give you some context,” Abedin wrote. “The condition upon which the Moroccans agreed to host the meeting was her participation. If hrc was not part if it, meeting was a non-starter.”
Abedin added, “CGI [Clinton Global Initiative] also wasn’t pushing for a meeting in Morocco and it wasn’t their first choice. This was HRC’s idea, our office approached the Moroccans and they 100 percent believe they are doing this at her request. The King has personally committed approx $12 million both for the [foundation’s] endowment and to support the meeting.”
Abedin also plainly speaks about the dire situation, writing: “It will break a lot of china to back out now when we had so many opportunities to do it in the past few months. She created this mess and she knows it.”

In 2011, while Hillary was secretary of state, the department claimed the Moroccan government was behind “arbitrary arrests and corruption in all branches of government.” This is especially relevant after Hillary has been slammed for her shady Clinton Foundation’s “pay to play” charges.
Hillary did not ultimately attend the event, but — as covered by FOX News — “Bill Clinton and Chelsea Clinton did go to Morocco and moderated various panel discussions.”
