It's a war out of the '80s as
Arsenio Hall takes on
Sinead O'Connor — after the irish singer accused the former talk-show host of supplying Prince with drugs! Arsenio is outraged over the charges. It doesn't help that Sinead has even spent her recent concerts refusing to perform the Prince-penned song that made her a star!

Sinead went to Facebook — where she last made news
with a suicide scare — to declare: “Two words for the DEA investigating where Prince got his drugs over the decades.... Arsenio Hall (AKA Prince's and Eddie Murphy's bitch)."
Sinead didn't stop there, however — adding more accusations: "Anyone imagining Prince was not a long time hard drug user is living in cloud cuckoo land. Arsenio, I've reported you to the Carver County Sherrif's [sic] office. Expect their call. They are aware you spiked me years ago at Eddie Murphy's house. You best get tidying your man cave."

The claim was not appreciated by Arsenio — whose ex-girlfriend
Oneta Watson once told
The National ENQUIRER that Arsenio gave up doing any drugs "when he got his show because he felt he was a role model for young people." Oneta added that Arsenio went on to spend $100,000 to convert a former crack house, before "renovating it for use by a church."

Arsenio soon had representative Traci Harper sending out an official denial: "The statement regarding Arsenio Hall is absolutely false, ridiculous and absurd." An unrepentant Sinead is keeping the statement up on her Facebook page, however.

Meanwhile, Sinead's fans are puzzled by her strange defense of
Prince, who Sinead never got along with — even though she enjoyed her only big U.S. hit with his song "Nothing Compares 2 U." She'd complained that she and Prince once got in a fight after he complained about her cursing in interviews.

“We had a fist fight," she said, in yet
another wild story about the
bizarre late rock legend. "There was quite a scene. I ended up having to escape from his house. I was running around his car, spitting at him and he’s trying to box me — all at six o’clock in the morning. I rang on someone’s doorbell to get in their house because Prince was about to kick the living s**t out of me."

In March 2015, Sinead went to Facebook and announced: "OK, the time has come for me to cease singing Nothing Compares 2U. The first principle of the manner in which I'm trained as a singer (Bel Canto) is we never sing a song we don't emotionally identify with. After twenty-five years of singing it, nine months or so ago I finally ran out of anything I could use in order to bring some emotion to it."
